2009 GNS m@sh-1®
m@sh-1® is based on a EU standard. It will be used as the groundwork for Dedicated Short Range Car2car Communications (DSRC) for vehicle-based communication networks, particularly for applications such as toll collection, vehicle safety services, and commerce transactions via cars. GNS is developing RSU´s and Modules and Clientsoftware for PND´s based on m@sh-1®. The first PND application will be a pre-crash warning system based on a new GNS patent pending technology.

The ultimate vision is a nationwide network that enables communications between vehicles and roadside access points or other vehicles.

2011 GNS XM Radio module
XM is a satellite based digital radio already on air in the US and provides a nation wide radio service with data channel. GNS will support this technology which might be introduced also in Europe.
